Arden and Exton quickly became two people I was rooting for. Exton is tall, dark and extremely handsome. He's attraction to Arden is instantaneous and his pursuit of her was enticing. Arden, for her part, was weary of Exton due to her past experiences. My heart aches for her pains like she was my best friend. Once these two get together, their chemistry is felt radiating off the pages.
In Volume Two, we get to know what Exton was thinking before, during and after meeting Arden. What I really loved was when Arden was thrown into the press with a possible scandal, Exton would stop at nothing to protect his girl. His feelings for her are far from temporary!
I loved these two books from Ella! Her writing and storytelling are superb. This story really captures the reader from the start and once completed, it leaves you wanting more.
