He's wild, sex-crazed, and hell-bent on staying single. Still, Rosalie can't seem to give up on the bad boy.

Up-and-coming baseball pitcher Holt Clemson is on fire, both on and off the field. His career has taken him to the top, and with that success comes women, and lots of them. After spending years watching his father cheat and lie to his mother, he's become jaded when it comes to relationships. He can have any girl he chooses, but the last one he thought he'd ever want is the only one making her way into his heart.

Rosalie wants romance, love, and a man who will do anything for her, but Holt isn't a hearts-and-flowers kind of guy. Can this unlikely duo find some common ground? Will Rosalie make Holt see that happily ever afters do exist?

“We’re not going to do it.” Rosalie wiggled out of Holt's hold and slipped off the counter, taking a few steps back to create some distance as she fixed her bra and shirt. His scent lingered on her skin.

Hell! Why does he have to look so good?

“What’s the game?” When he leaned against the counter, she could see his impressive excitement poking into the towel.

“There’s no game.” At least she wasn’t the one playing any games.

“Bullshit. I feel it every time I touch you.” He picked up his mug. “Why are you pulling back?”

“Because all you ever do is touch me. Can’t you see how explosive we are? How fast things heat up?”

“That’s not a problem for me. It tells me the sex is going to be amazing.”

“Maybe I’m not looking for amazing sex.”

“What?” He looked like he might choke on the air between them.

“Amazing sex is great.” Until now sex had been mediocre for her. She hadn’t had that many partners, and the few sexual encounters she had were usually with frat guys who’d had too much to drink. “But a relationship can’t be about sex and nothing else.”

“A relationship?” Confusion spread across his face faster than poison ivy covered the skin, but he looked just as uncomfortable as he would if he were suffering from the itchy condition.

“A foreign concept to you, I know. I read the tabloids.” His reputation was the reason she warned herself to stay away from him. But she wasn’t even in town forty-eight hours and she couldn’t manage to keep her mind or her lips off him.

“Don’t believe everything you read.” He brought the mug to that kissable mouth again, took a long sip, and then continued. “My family is an easy target for those rags. My father’s in the senate, and every time a president from the opposing party takes office, my old man publicly fights with him every chance he gets. My mother is an heir to one of the largest diamond manufacturers in the country. Their only son is the starting pitcher for the number one team in baseball. We sell papers.”

“So all that stuff about you and those girls isn’t true?”

“I didn’t say that. I just said don’t believe everything they print about me.” He grinned, probably because he was impressed with some of the things printed about him. “If you change your mind about me and you, I promise you won’t regret it.”

“You’re something, but I’m going to pass.” She pulled the hair tie from her hair and redid her ponytail. “Unless you want to grab dinner or something and we could get to know one another. See if there can be more than sex between us.”

“Like a date?” More confusion.

“Another foreign concept?”

“We’re wasting time with this conversation.”

“I don’t think we are. It’s all very telling.”

“How are we ever going to hit the sheets, princess, if you don’t get these silly fairytale ideas out of your head?”

“That’s not the problem.”

“It isn’t?” His towel dipped lower than before, exposing more of that complex tattoo of his. How she ached to see the whole thing.

“The question should be how are we ever going to hit the sheets if you don’t start believing in fairytales?”

Why I Owe Ella So Much

Okay, it's so secret that I love me some Ella Jade. The way she brings her stories to life and captures you imagination like no other. You fall in love with her heroes and that love never dies. She has something for everyone.

It's also no secret that there is one particular man that stole my heart and has never let it go. However, there is something that no one knows and that is I owe Ella for helping me when I needed it most.

So, in early 2013 my life changed and I was broken, for awhile I was living without really living. Even my enjoyment of reading was waning. Although I persevered, I needed something to enrapture and help me out of my slump.

So I decided to change the genre I was reading, which happened to be Regency Era, to something more contemporary, something a bit more spicy. I couldn't really find anything that fit the bill until that September when something caught my eye.

That story intrigued me and brought someone into my life that, in short, changed it for the better; gave me back my love of reading and introduced me to an author that has come to mean so much. And we must not forget, she introduced me my love, Spencer, and so many of her author friends.  For all she's given me, I will forever be grateful.

Almost two years and a dozen or so stories later, Ella is still someone that I fan girl over whenever I get a message from her or better yet, get a chance to read her work while she's still working on it. I may be just one reader, but for me Ella is a rockstar.

Review of Rosalie's Player

I'm not gonna lie, I got to read this book many, many, months ago and I thought this day would never get here. Why? Because baseball keeps getting hotter and hotter!! Just when I think Ella could make baseball any more irresistible, she goes hits it way out of the ballpark. A very cold shower is recommended after reading this book.

Holt Clemson is the type of guy to love them and leave them, never one to stick around. Settling down is the farthest from his mind, well truthfully, it's not anything he ever wants to do.

Rosalie Millan is fresh out of college and looking for a relaxing summer with her sister, well maybe she has an ulterior motive to get the one man that drives her completely crazy. The one that captured her imagination and the one she let walk away all those months ago. She's out to prove that the player has meet his match.

This story is everything you could want from an Ella Jade book! Holt is hot, like seriously sex on legs! He knows what he wants and doesn't take no for an answer. He knows that Rosalie wants more than a fling, but he just can't stay away from her. Rosalie does everything she can to make him see differently while trying to keep her heart from getting hurt.

Things between the two start off hot and heavy, but Holt isn't going down without a fight. The only problem with that is that he's about to lose the one girl that he can't live without. The passion between them is electric and when they get going... you'll need a cold shower.

This next installment in the Kingston Heat series is absolutely stunning. Holt and Rosalie are amazingly written and their passion is undeniable. I love this story and Holt is quite possibly my favorite player yet!!

WARNING - Explicit Content

“You smell like berries.” Holt trailed his tongue along her neck. “It’s very enticing.”

Rosalie thought she’d explode from the sheer pleasure of his attention. When he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her to him, her knees buckled, causing her to fall into him.

“The martini.” She laughed, trying not to appear embarrassed. “It must be going to my head.”

“The martini?” He arched a brow at her. “I would have hoped it was my lips, my tongue, and my fingers.” He dug his fingers into her hip. “You sure it’s not me making you lightheaded?”

“It might be.”

“Hmm...” He placed slow, open-mouthed kisses along her jaw until the elevator doors opened to her floor. He led her into the hallway. “Which number is your suite?”

“4315.” She searched her clutch and retrieved the keycard.

He guided her in front of him so he could put his arms around her waist, kissing the back of her neck as they made their way down the long corridor to her room. They stumbled a couple of times, but he caught her and regained their footing. Agility was definitely his thing.

“It’s right up here.” She pointed to the last mahogany door at the end of the hall. When they got to it, he pressed her against the cool wood.

“This dress...” He slid his hand under the silky skirt and toyed with the string from her panties that rested on her hip. As he twisted his finger around the elastic, his breathing picked up. “...is fucking amazing. I love the way your tits bounce.” He kissed her neck as he continued to tug at her panties. “How the silk clings to your ass. Your nipples have teased me all night too.”

“Ahh.” She moaned when he placed his free hand over her breasts, squeezing them. “Holt.”

He covered her mouth with his, kissing her hard as he pressed her into the door. She lifted her leg over his hip, rocking into him. When his erection pushed into her thigh, she wanted to beg for more. Abandoning the side of her panties, he lowered his hand, allowing his fingers to seek out her covered slit.

“You’re bare for me, aren’t you?”

No one had ever spoken to her this way before. The sound of his voice, the way the dirty words rolled off his tongue, was the hottest things she’d ever experienced. When she was alone, she was certain she’d hear his raspy, southern voice call to her.

“Uh-huh.” She couldn’t focus on anything but his touch on her most intimate of areas. “Did you wax for our date?”

“Yes.” Her answer came out low and breathless. “I thought you’d like me that way.”

“I fuckin’ love you that way.” He pushed his fingers into her sensitive opening through her panties. “You’re so wet. I can feel it. I can’t wait to put my mouth on your slick, smooth pussy. Would you like that?”

“Umm...yeah.” Did he really have to ask?

“I’ll let you come all over my tongue if you’re a good girl.” He kissed his way back up her throat and to her mouth. “Will you be a good girl and do everything I ask?”

“Anything.” She rocked into his fingers. “Everything you want.”

“Give me the keycard,” he whispered.
