Cillian is more than the man he appears to be. Although he's taken his role within the family seriously, he's a man tormented by the past and the role he played that resulted in the death of his brother. He may have changed his ways, when people see him they only see a man that trouble seems to find.
Olivia is the new girl in town, leaving a haunted past behind her. She only wants to provide a life for his daughter that is vastly different than the life she, herself, had. The last thing she needs is to hook up with a man that personifies the life she is running from.
Cillian knows he can't provide the life Olivia wants, but he can't seem to stay away from her. So when she calls for help, he jumps into action. He'll do everything in his power to protect her and her daughter, even if it means walking away from the only women that owns his heart.
Just when I thought I couldn't for another O'Malley, Katee goes and gives us Cillian! As soon as I walked back into the world that is Boston, the only thing I could do was to grab hold of Cillian and enjoy the ride.
This O'Malley is the whole package, a man that will always stand by his family and their business, but also a man that knows when to step away for the good of the woman he loves. I love how he didn't push her to answer his questions, instead proving that he would always be there for her, that he's a person she can trust.
Olivia has trust issues stemming from childhood, but I love how when push came to shove, she was able to believe Cillian's word. She sees him for more than the sexy yet dangerous man in a killer suit.
Every book in this series keeps getting juicer and juice and An Indecent Proposal is all that and more. It's got the suspence you would expect given the business the family is in, but it's also got two broken souls coming together and healing each other. The passion that exist between the two is so undeniable that is flows off the pages. What's not to love about a couple that will go to the end of the world and fight anyone and anything for the one they love.
I love this family and can't wait for the next book in this exhilarating series

Q&A
1) What drew you towards writing about these crazy, intimidating mob families in the first place?
I love the contrasting elements that you see in fictional mob families. They orchestrate and do these terrible things, but there is this core set of values that puts family above all. So you have a leader of a mob family who might order a hit on an enemy, and then go share a meal with his family. Examining the kind of people who can live these dual sort of lives—and what happens when you start throwing wrenches into the mix—is something that I’ve always wanted to do. This series has been such a blast to write as a result.
2) What do you think sets this book apart from the other two in the series?
The events in The Marriage Contract (O’Malley #1) has some long-standing effects. We saw a bit of that in the second book, but Cillian O’Malley has a serious case of survivor guilt and the death of his little brother has altered his perspective of life on a fundamental level. So you have this guy who used to be a party boy and lived on the edge, and now he’s a shadow of who he used to be…but might be stronger as a result. He’s very different from Teague and James, and he’s what sets this book apart from the ones that have come before.
3) Out of the three O’Malley men you’ve written books for, which one would you say is closest to being your perfect match and why?
I think they’d all eat me alive. Haha. Okay, but seriously. My heart belongs to James. I have a thing for alpha dudes who don’t always behave the way you expect alpha dudes to behave, and James fits that description to a T!
4) What is your favorite trope to read?
I love, love, love marriage of convenience. You get these two strangers (or enemies or people who would never have been married otherwise) and they are forced into one of the most intimate relationships a person can be in. Reading about the couple finding their way and then realizing that, hey, they might actually want to make this a marriage FOR REAL *waggles eyebrows* … Yeah, that’s my favorite.
5) What are you currently working on? And do you plan on writing any more books based on mob life?
I’m currently doing edits on Sloan’s book (O’Malley #4) and then I’m finishing up writing Aiden’s book (O’Malley #5), both of which will be out next year. I’m a firm believer in no man or lady left behind when it comes to happily ever after, and that definitely applies to the O’Malley family! They’ve been through so much (and will go through so much for over the next few books)—they deserve to each find their person and fall head over heels in love.

About The Author
Katee Robert learned to tell stories at her grandpa's knee. Her favorites then were the rather epic adventures of The Three Bears, but at age twelve she discovered romance novels and never looked back.
Though she dabbled in writing, life got in the way-as it often does-and she spent a few years traveling, living in both Philadelphia and Germany. In between traveling and raising her two wee ones, she had the crazy idea that she'd like to write a book and try to get published.
Her first novel was an epic fantasy that, God willing, will never see the light of day. From there, she dabbled in YA and horror, before finally finding romance. Because, really, who wouldn't want to write entire books about the smoking-hot relationships between two people?
She now spends her time-when not lost in Far Reach worlds-playing imaginary games with her wee ones, writing, ogling men, and planning for the inevitable zombie apocalypse.
