Ashton is a rough, tough alpha male, but he's got more going on than meets the eye. I love how close he is to his family and never let he's past stand in his way of getting what he wants. He never thought he'd actually want to settle down, but once he commits to Sadie, he's all in 100 percent.
The passion that flows between the two is intense and flying off the pages. Some (okay all) of the lessons Ashton teaches Sadie can cause the reader to overheat over and over again. I would suggest having an ice bath ready when you start this book.
Staying up way, way past my bedtime to finish Swallow Me Whole was completely worth it. The storyline was alluring, the hero mouthwatering, the heroine delightful, and the passion exciting. If you're new to Gemma, then this a perfect first read. If you already love Gemma, than this is everything you'd expect from a Gemma James book.
So I recommend picking up Swallow Me Whole grab a glass (or two) of wine, settle into your favorite reading spot, and snuggle up with Sadie and Ashton.
